Western Australian Spaceport (WA Spaceport) is a privately owned commercial spaceport located in Albany, Western Australia. When operational (objective – 2024) WA Spaceport will provide efficient licenced orbital launch facilities on a non-exclusive access basis.
Our Vision is to provide access to space. Space technologies and exploration is possible to all who have the courage to pursue it.
WA Spaceport will meet the expectations of customers in a sustainable manner. To support international and domestic small satellite launch for individual constellation spacecraft replacement and earth observation applications WA Spaceport will enable expedient deployment and remove barriers to entry with its cost and time effective licenced orbital launch facilities.
Orbital launch facilities require licencing, optimal location and alike other structures careful design, construction and on-going maintenance which deprives resources from launch missions. WA Spaceport enables satellite manufacturers, operators, end users and launch service providers to concentrate their efforts to research, development and innovation to their own technologies.
